Commander of the 3 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brig Gen Bamidele Alli Alabi has applauded the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai for his unwavering efforts in providing befitting accommodation for troops and members of their families of Headquarters 3 Brigade, Bukavu barracks Kano.
Brig Gen Alabi made this commendation on Monday 22 June 2020, during the handing over ceremony of seventy two (72) newly renovated apartments for Soldiers and their families in Bukavu Barracks.
The Commander 3 Brigade who was visibly elated with the facelift, further appreciated the COAS for the intervention.
In his speech, he said that; “indeed we are grateful to the COAS, Lt Gen TY Buratai for this intervention and also want to appreciate the high quality of work carried out by the construction company”.
High point of the ceremony, was the handing over of the keys of the renovated apartments by Engr Nazeef Bala, from SLAB3 and SLAB3 Construction Company to the Commander 3 Brigade on behalf of the COAS.
Meanwhile, other ongoing projects both in Bukavu Barracks and 73 Battalion Janguza Barracks, courtesy of the COAS intervention have reached advanced stages of completion.
